DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
In the course of the reconstruction of the boulevard "Jahnallee" in Leipzig, the following works were realised:
  • Rehabilitation of combined sewer on a length of 340 m using pipe lining technology
  • Rehabilitation of 6 inspection chambers by applying a mineral mortar coating
  • Rehabilitation of 95 house connections using the pipe lining system Houseliner®.
These rehabilitation works had to be realised underneath tramway tracks.
PROJECT COMPONENTS AND
TECHNICAL DATA
  • 340 m pipe lining (egg-shaped sewer DN 850/1,300)
  • Partial relocation of ~30 house connections DN 150 to DN 300 for wastewater and stormwater without interruption of operation
  • Construction of 3 concrete and reinforced concrete manholes
  • Replacement of a glass fibre reinforced egg-shaped sewer (DN 850/1,300) on a length of ~ 30 m
  • Demolition works on the existing sewer
  • Maintenance repairs on the existing conduits
