DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
Planning and implementation of water supply and sanitation infrastructure in three informal settlements of Kampala City (including Nbeeba, Kisenyi I and Kisenyi II) complete with institutional support mechanisms to ensure the sustainability of the services for a target population of circa 100,000.

The project included the support of NWSC in creating capacity for pro-poor planning and management of utility services; the implementation of water and sanitation infrastructure in the informal settlements of Kampala to ensure that access to these facilities be considerably enhanced and the building of institutional and human resource capabilities at community level for the sustainability of improved water and sanitation services.
