DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
Within the scope of the project, the complete assets of NWSC have been surveyed and valued in 15 towns of Uganda to provide a reliable basis for NWSC's future investment planning.

The consultant's main services included:
  • Make an inventory of all existing assets like water supply and sanitation systems, real estates, buildings, vehicles, furnishings, etc.
  • Elaborate reference documents and other supports enabling NWSC to make future asset valuations on its own.
  • Assist NWSC in procuring missing land property rights.
All facilities in the 15 towns have been visited for survey of their current state and determination of their residual value.

TECHNICAL DATA
  • 3.000 km water supply lines including reservoirs and pumping stations
  • 400 km sewerage lines
  • 20 water treatment plants with a total capacity of ~ 320,000 m³/d
  • 14 wastewater treatment plants (mainly pond systems) with a total capacity of 50,000 m³/d
