DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
The project includes the rehabilitation and expansion of the existing water and sanitation facilities for the town of Entebbe. As complementary measures, the urban water supply system was extended over a length of 12 km along the Entebbe-Kampala road. Due to a substantial drop of the water level in Lake Victoria, the intake structure of Entebbe waterworks had to be redesigned and extended by around 300 m towards the interior of the lake. To improve the administration of the extended water supply area, the Project constructed an administration building, workshop and store.
