DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
Design and tendering of water supply and sanitation infrastructure in the towns of Jena, Bucha and Zimmritz.

Potable water: The Client intended to reorganise the water supply system and commissioned the construction of a potable water feeder line connecting the city of Jena with an elevated tank near the city of Zimmritz. Within the course of the project, the towns of Coppanz, Bucha, Schorba and Zimmritz were to be connected to the water supply system. Furthermore, the construction/rehabili­tation of two booster stations and a water tank became necessary. The trace of the feeder line cuts across two streets as well as the federal motorway A4.

Wastewater: The wastewater produced in the towns of Bucha and Schorba was to be transported to the city of Jena via a pressure main and a pneumatic pumping station. Within the course of pipe-laying, a street was tunnelled.

  • Pressure pipe PE-HD 200x18,2 (PN 16); length: 7 km
