Replacement of the elevated potable water tank 'Seeberg' / Germany
Elevated potable water tank Seeberg
Elevated potable water tank Seeberg
DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
At the site of the old elevated tank "Seeberg", which comprised 2 circular reinforced concrete tanks, a new two-chamber reinforced concrete water tank with a connecting operation building was constructed. Since the structure is detached and in order to prevent uncontrolled warming or cooling of the stored water, the steel tanks were equipped with a mineral wool heat insulation and profiled metal sheeting.

Only after the commissioning of the first new tank, one of the old tanks could be dismantled so as to ensure the continuous operation of the plant during the entire construction period.
