DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
The water supply and sanitation systems of the town of Kabale were in need of rehabilitation and expansion to comply with present and future requirements (50,000 p.e.).

Besides the typical engineering tasks like technical design, construction supervision, final handing-over and commissioning of the water supply and sanitation facilities, the Consultant's services also included the development of specific proposals and recommendations for the management of the different then independent community water supply schemes with the aim of incorporating the individual networks (as far as economically viable) into the future central supply system. A further task included the recommendation of an appropriate administrative mechanism.
