DESCPRIPTION OF PROJECT
The project aimed at the creation of a flood retention space on the river Rhine between the cities of Weil and Breisach. By deepening the adjacent areas on the right side of the river, a retention volume of 25 million m³ was created.

After a positive evaluation in view of the regional development plan, the final design for the particular measures was prepared. Within the scope of a cross-sectoral co-operation, the Consultant took charge of the final design of the areas to be deepened, complete with the integration of water bodies and all required civil engineering structures.
