Construction of the Tramway Line to Freiburg-Haslach, Germany
In the course of the extension of the tramway system in Freiburg, the south-western districts of Haslach and Weingarten were connected to the existing network. About 21,000 inhabitants and 7,200 working places were thus additionally connected to the tramway system. In a joint venture, Fichtner Water & Transportation planned the new tramway line that was designed as double-track on a segregated track. The total length amounts to approx. 3.8 km. 7 new tramway stops were built along the new tramway line and 2 existing stops were extended.
