Master Plan for Water Recycling for the City of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The Arriyadh development authority commissioned Fichtner Water & Transportation with the development of a master plan for the use of the rare resource “water”. For the design horizon of 25 years the effective and sustainable use of treated sewage effluent (TSE) was to be determined in particular. At the end of the examined period, the available quantity of treated sewage effluent will amount to 2 million m³/day, which is more than the former consumption of drinking water.
