Potable Water Treatment Plant “El Milagro” in Tumbes, Peru

Fichtner Water & Transportation was charged with the planning of the optimisation and extension of unit 3 of the potable water treatment plant El Milagro. The construction was to be effected in the area where the primary settling tanks and the existing units 1 and 2 of the potable water treatment plant were located. Furthermore, a new intake on the river Tumbes with the corresponding pressure lines and considering the design discharge had to be planned.
